About sinks & tubs
Sink material sets the tone of your prep zone: fireclay and cast iron are quiet and heavy, stainless is light and forgiving, and composite granite hides water spots well.
For tubs, weight is the NYC constraint. A cast-iron soaker may exceed what a wood-frame floor can carry without reinforcement.
