Bronx renovation FAQ

Do you renovate throughout the entire Bronx?

Yes — we serve every Bronx neighborhood including Riverdale, Throgs Neck, Fordham, Pelham Bay, Kingsbridge, City Island, Morris Park, Parkchester, Co-op City and Country Club, plus lower Westchester.

How much does a home renovation cost in the Bronx?

Most Bronx projects fall between $15,000 for a single-room remodel and $250,000+ for a full gut of a two-family home. A kitchen typically lands at $25,000–$200,000, a full bathroom at $15,000–$100,000, and a finished basement at $25,000–$125,000. Every number is a fixed, line-item quote after an in-home measure — never a per-square-foot guess.

What affects the price of a Bronx renovation?

Square footage, how much plumbing and electrical has to move, cabinetry and tile grade, whether walls or asbestos-era materials come out, DOB permit scope, and building access in walk-ups or co-ops. We break each of these out as separate line items so you can adjust the budget before work starts.

Do you pull DOB permits for Bronx projects?

Yes. We prepare and file NYC Department of Buildings Type 2 alteration applications, Limited Alteration Applications for plumbing and electrical, and we schedule every required inspection. Permit work is included in the contract scope — you never visit a DOB office.

How long does a Bronx home renovation take?

Kitchens and bathrooms usually take 6–10 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. Basements run 8–12 weeks. Whole-home renovations typically take 12–20 weeks. Permit review adds 2–5 weeks up front, and we start that clock the day the contract is signed so it overlaps with material ordering.

Are you licensed and insured to work in the Bronx?

We are a licensed NYC Home Improvement Contractor carrying $2 million in liability coverage plus workers' compensation. Certificates are provided to you and to your co-op or condo board before we start, and every project carries a 7-year written workmanship warranty.
