Crown Molding Installation in NYC
Crown molding, baseboards and door casings measured, fitted and finished by a licensed, insured contractor — as a standalone project or as the final stage of your renovation.
What we install and finish
Trim work is the last stage of a renovation and the one every visitor notices. We treat it that way — cut to the room you actually have, not the one the catalog assumes.
Crown molding
Crown installed where walls meet ceilings — measured room by room, miters cut to follow real New York corners, joints caulked and finished so the line reads clean under paint and lighting.
Baseboards & shoe molding
Baseboards set level against floors that are rarely level, with shoe molding where gaps show. Nail holes filled, corners scribed, and everything caulked before painting.
Door casings & window trim
Casings around doors and windows hung plumb and square, returns and miters matched so openings read the same from every room.
Trim painting & refinishing
New trim painted after installation, and existing trim refinished during renovations — enamel applied with proper prep so old and new work read as one.
Hardware & final details
Door hardware, outlet and switch plates, caulking and the final punch list — the details that decide whether a room looks professionally finished.

Crown molding questions
What the work includes, how it is priced and where we work.
What does crown molding installation include?
Measuring the rooms, cutting and fitting the molding to the actual corners and walls, fastening it properly, caulking joints and nail holes, and leaving every surface ready for paint. If you want, we also paint the molding and touch up the wall or ceiling where it meets.
Can crown molding be added without a full renovation?
Yes. Crown molding, baseboards and casings can be installed in finished rooms as a standalone project, and they are also a standard part of the finishing stage in our full apartment and home renovations.
Do you paint the molding after installing it?
Yes. New trim is caulked, filled and painted after installation, and during renovations we refinish existing trim so old and new work read as one — prep first, then enamel.
How much does crown molding installation cost?
Every estimate is free. Price depends on the room sizes, corner conditions and whether painting is included, so we measure on site and send a fixed line-item written quote before anything starts — no charge and no obligation for the visit.
