Porcelain tile
Dense, low-absorption, and the workhorse of NYC bathrooms. Large-format sizes reduce grout lines.

Ceramic & handmade zellige
Softer body, glaze variation, and irregular edges for character walls and backsplashes.

Natural stone tile
Marble, limestone, slate. Requires sealing and a slip-rating check on floors.

Mosaic & glass
Shower floors, niches, and accent bands. Mesh-mounted sheets keep the install accurate.

Waterproofing systems
Sheet or liquid membrane, sloped pans, and sealed penetrations behind everything we tile.

What to know before you specify
- Every wet-zone wall gets a continuous membrane, not just the shower surround
- Floor tile needs a DCOF slip rating of 0.42 or higher
- Order 10 – 15% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs
- Epoxy grout in showers costs more up front and stays clean far longer
Brands we work with
Large-format or small tile in a small bathroom?
Large-format on walls reads calmer and means less grout to clean. Keep small mosaic on the shower floor for slope and grip.
Can you tile over existing tile?
Sometimes on floors, almost never in a shower. If waterproofing is unknown, we take it down to the substrate.
